The ANR is associated to the Joint Programme in Neurodegenerative Diseases (JPND) to launch a joint transnational call for proposals.
21 countries / regions are participating to this call for proposals: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Québec (Canada), Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom.
The aim of the call is to enable multi-national, collaborative research projects that will address the optimization of biomarkers and harmonization of their use between clinical center in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.

Research should focus on molecular markers most urgently. Purely cognitive and behavioral approaches are not included in the call.
Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve at least four different countries of funding organizations participating in this call (see list above). The projects must show a clear added value in funding the collaboration over the individual projects.
Proposals must be submitted by 5th September 2011 at 23h30.
Funding will be awarded for a maximum of three years. The ANR will fund only the French partners in the selected projects.
