The French National Research Agency (ANR) launches the 2011 edition of the “Concepts, Systems and Tools for Global Security" programme in partnership with the Defense Procurement Agency (DGA), the General Directorate of the National Police Force (DGPN) and the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie (DGGN).
This call for proposals aims at promoting a high level scientific and technological research and at favouring cross-sector, multi-disciplinary approaches including social sciences and humanities, associating industrial and academic partners as well as those within security, be they public or private.
The 2011 objective is to facilitate the setting-up and the implementation of scientific projects of quality, proposed by French and German academic and industrial partners within the framework of the ANR’s programme on the one hand and the BMBF’s ‘Research for Civil Security’ programme on the other.
This programme targets a certain number of specific functions or capacities, sub-groups of the following missions which therefore constitute the perimeter of the security covered:
This scope is identical to that defines by the call for proposals of the BMBF entitled "Cooperation in research between Civilian Security Germany and France" of the German programme (www.bmbf.de/in/13409.php). A support for the getting in touch of the French and German partners is set up by the national contact points security French and German on the site www.fr-de.info.
A second thematic axis will be dedicated this year to the problems of Security in the school frame.
This call for proposals is open to projects of partnership research, however the projects raising only social sciences and humanities, can be proposed by mobilizing only research organisations.
