Résumé de soumission

The PHARE project has the ambition to answer to industrial issues connected to energy saving, accidental situations and also new technological solutions in a sustainable development approach. Three experimental rigs have developed at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and INSA de Lyon to constitute the PHARE platform. This platform will gather experimental and numerical scientists including teams of ENS Lyon. The main scientific subjects which will be addressed in this project will be linked to aerodynamic, aeroacoustics and vibration problems.

Large companies like SAFRAN and EDF are also involved in this project.

 

Several important milestones were reached during the period (01/01/16 to 31/12/16):

-1- Concerning the experimental rig 1 which is dedicated to vibration analysis in vaccum conditions is now receipted. A full plc-software has been also developed to control in entire rig (security aspects, alarms …) and also specific software dedicated to monitoring, acquisition and control. Now this rig is carrying out the first experimental tests dedicated to research activities.

-2- Concerning the experimental rig 2 which is dedicated to aerodynamic and aeroacoustic applied to bladed disks (diameter 50cm) and rotation speed form 0 to 16000 rpm (3MWatt of electrical power) is now almost receipted. The experimental to be tested is now connected to the rig and the first commissioning tests are in process. Quickly the first research datas will be obtained.

-3- Concerning the experimental rig 3 which is dedicated to vibration analysis to ground excitations, this rig is now fully operational.  Some research activities have been already realized.
