Perinat Collection is a biobank that aims to accelerate perinatal research carried out and supported by PremUp Foundation. This powerful tool, stores, makes accessible and promotes fully documented collections of biological fetal and perinatal samples that have been associated with clinical and imaging data of the pregnant woman and her newborn focusing on premature births.
These data and biological samples are collected from the Premup network maternities and neonatal units (20. 000 births/year) which allow a centralized and controlled access to collections ready to use for the scientific and industrial communities. This storage and interfacing equipment within the same system consists of collections equipped in tranche 1 and evolving since 2014 (tranche 2):
-A collection of clinical data from the pregnant woman, the fetus and the newborn, and a collection of ultrasound images powered by the Premimage® project carried out by PremUp and co-financed by the Ile de France region. These two collections are stored in an unidentifiable data-bank format on a server accessible online consisting of a Web application and two e-CRF (Mother and Baby). A medical imaging hosting and visualization service is also in place.
-A collection of perinatal biological samples from mother and baby (serum, amniotic fluid, tissues ...), centralized at the Biological Resource Center of the Intercommunal Créteil Hospital(certified NFS96-900, J Barré), equipped in tranche 1 and meeting the criteria of the Biobanks project (agreement signed with the ANR). It hosts 23080 sera of pregnant women PHRC FEPED (tranche 2).
-Two dedicated satellite biobanks, one to the placenta centralized on the PremUp Placentech® platform (S Gil) and the other to the fetus and the newborn brain centralized in fetopathology at the Robert Debré Hospital AP-HP (F Guimiot) whose activity grows .
